Their story

Medical image sharing has long relied on outdated CD technology, creating inefficiencies for both patients and providers. Despite advancements in patient portals and PACS, CDs remain the industry standard, limiting accessibility and slowing care coordination.

Founded in 2016 by brothers Harsh and Rishi Nayyar, PocketHealth set out to modernize this process with a cloud-based image-sharing platform that eliminates the need for CDs. Designed to be intuitive and seamless, PocketHealth enhances patient access while providing immediate ROI for providers through simple implementation and integration with existing EMRs, PACS, and portals.

Beyond image sharing, PocketHealth is building a comprehensive imaging ecosystem. With a repository of over 800 million images, the company is expanding into patient engagement tools, hospital-to-hospital image transfer, and AI-driven image analysis to further streamline radiology workflows.

Our partnership

The inefficiencies of CD-based transfers for medical image exchange had long been a pain point in radiology, and PocketHealth’s solution offered a scalable, patient-centric alternative. Beyond the technology, we were impressed by the leadership of Rishi and Harsh, whose technical expertise and strategic vision have driven the company’s rapid expansion.

Since our investment, we have partnered with the company to further its expansion into the U.S. hospital market, expand its senior leadership team, and execute on its strategic plan.
